2. Browse loads straight away
No approval queue and no documents required. Search routes, open loads and start quoting immediately.
3. Browse and filter loads
Search by state, route, category, vehicle body, pickup date and budget, or show only loads with no quotes yet.
4. Send a clear quote
See the load details, photos and any customer budget guide, then send your own price. Your quote is private — other carriers cannot see it.
5. Pick up and deliver
Message the customer on-platform and, when useful, add pickup or delivery evidence to the job workspace.
6. Wrap it up directly
You and the customer wrap up the job on the terms you agreed in messages.
What you need to start quoting
A free account. That's it — no application, no approval queue and no documents before you can quote on ordinary freight.
You remain responsible for operating legally: hold the licences, insurance and accreditations required for the work you take on. Some specialised or legally regulated freight may still require you to show appropriate qualifications or compliance before a customer accepts your quote.
Adding your business details, ABN, insurance and vehicles later builds trust and can help customers choose you. Documents are stored securely and are never shown on your public profile.
What LoadBid charges
Nothing. LoadBid is a free listing and messaging marketplace. There are no monthly fees, no lead fees, and no cut of accepted jobs.
LoadBid is not a party to your agreement with the customer and does not handle money between you. If this ever changes, it will be clearly disclosed before either side accepts anything.

Carrier FAQs
- Do I have to be verified or approved before I can quote?
- No. Create a free account and you can quote on ordinary freight straight away. Verification is optional and only used to build trust with customers.
- Does LoadBid take a percentage of my job?
- No. LoadBid does not charge a membership fee, lead fee or commission on the transport job.
- Can another carrier see my quote?
- No. Carrier quote prices are private between that carrier and the customer.
- What if a customer expects an unrealistic price?
- Carriers are never required to match a customer's budget. If the job does not work at the right price for your business, you can simply choose not to quote.
- How do I wrap up a job with the customer?
- Everything after the quote is accepted is between you and the customer. Use LoadBid messaging to keep a clear record of what was agreed.
- What if a customer cancels?
- Cancellations and disputes are covered in our Cancellations & Disputes policy. LoadBid provides tools for evidence and messaging so both sides have a clear record.
- Can I quote on jobs outside my usual region?
- Yes — you choose which jobs to quote on. Use filters to focus on your routes, or search the wider marketplace for available freight.
- Do you support heavy or specialised freight?
- Yes. You'll be asked to record your vehicles and any heavy-vehicle or industry accreditations during verification.

How joining LoadBid as a carrier works
Signing up is free. You create an account as a carrier, add your business details, the vehicle types you run and the areas you cover, and your public carrier profile goes live on the marketplace. From there you can browse loads open for quotes or find Australian freight going your way and send a quote with your price, timing and any conditions. The customer compares quotes and messages you directly through LoadBid.
Optional verification lets you upload your ABN, insurance certificate and accreditation documents. Once the LoadBid team has reviewed a document, a verification indicator appears on your profile. Verification is optional, so not every carrier on LoadBid is verified — customers should review each carrier's profile, credentials, insurance details and quote before choosing who moves their freight. Pricing, payment terms and payment method are agreed directly between the customer and the carrier. LoadBid does not hold or process payments and takes no commission on completed work.
