Getting started
What is LoadBid?
LoadBid is an Australian transport marketplace. Customers post a load — anything from a single item to a full truckload — and verified Aussie carriers submit competitive bids. You compare offers, message the carrier, accept the one you want, and track the job to delivery.
Is it free to use?
Posting a load is free and no card is required. Registering as a carrier and bidding on jobs is also free. When a bid is accepted, LoadBid charges a 5% platform fee, which is included in the accepted price.
Where does LoadBid operate?
Anywhere in Australia — ACT, NSW, NT, QLD, SA, TAS, VIC and WA. Carriers set the states and regions they service.
For customers
How do I post a load?
Sign in, tap Post a load, and follow the wizard. You describe the item, the pickup and drop-off, dates, and any special handling. You can save a draft at any time and finish it later.
Do I have to pay to see bids?
No. You receive bids for free and can compare them side-by-side. You only pay when you accept a bid.
How do payments work?
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. When you accept a bid, you pay the full amount by card. The carrier's share is released to them 24 hours after delivery is confirmed, provided there is no dispute.
What if something goes wrong?
If a delivery is late, damaged, or does not match the agreed scope, open a dispute from the job page. LoadBid can hold the carrier payout until the issue is resolved.
For carriers
How do I become a verified carrier?
Sign up, complete the carrier onboarding (ABN, insurance, vehicle details, ID), and submit for verification. Once approved, your profile shows a verified badge and you can bid on any published load.
How much does LoadBid take from a job?
The platform fee is 5% of the accepted price. There are no monthly fees, no lead fees, and no charges for bids that are not accepted.
When do I get paid?
Your payout is released 24 hours after the customer confirms delivery, provided no dispute has been opened. Payouts arrive in your connected Stripe account.
Can I bid on loads outside my state?
Yes. You choose the states you service in your profile and can bid on any published load in those regions.
Trust and safety
How are carriers verified?
Verified carriers must provide a valid ABN, proof of insurance, and identity documents. LoadBid reviews these before granting the verified badge.
Are my contact details visible publicly?
No. Your name, phone number, and precise addresses are only shared with the carrier you accept. Public listings only show the suburb and state.
How does reviewing work?
After a job is completed, both parties can leave a review. Reviews are held privately for up to 14 days and then published together, so neither side sees the other's review before writing their own.

How do I delete my account?
Email support@loadbid.com.au from your registered address and we'll close your account. Some records may be retained where required by law (e.g. tax and dispute records).
